Enjoying Summertime!

A few weeks ago, a few of us girls went out to Dallas to say Farewell to one of my very best friends. Kara is now in Phoenix, Arizona helping open up a brand spankin new Del Frisco's Grille. She is doing SO GOOD in her new venture with Del Friscos. I see a very bright future for her with this company. They offer amazing benefits and so much room to grow. I'm very happy for her. Can't wait till you get back Kara!

Landon holding sweet Layla one day during Camp Thurman week.
This is what he looked just about everyday after camp. Exhausted! What a great week it was!!
He got his face painted like a tiger on his last day.

We have been spending lots of time with friends. Here's the group at Howard Moore Play Pool. I guess the sun was a little bright for all those baby eyes.
My kids are so tired of me taking pictures of them, they pretty much just refuse to look at the camera now :)

Landon got his very first baseball trophy! That's one happy kid!

We stopped for a little painting at Creative Hands one day while we were out running errands. I enjoyed spending some one-on-one time with just me and my sweet boy.

We ate at Chuys the other day for dinner, and stopped to "look" at the fountains. They wanted to get soaked, so we let them! Nothing wrong with a little unplanned water play!

Chris played in a golf tournament with Michael a few weeks ago. They were on a team with Pat Green. Pretty cool!

About to head out for a round of golf with dad! Landon starts golf camp tmrw. I cant wait to hear all about it!

These 2 boys have my heart, thats for sure!

Pre-K Graduation and Camp Thurman

My baby boy graduated from preschool last week! I seriously can not believe he's going to be starting Kindergarten in August :-( My babies are growing up way too fast! The little graduation ceremony was so cute! They sang several songs, did a few little dances, the teachers presented their "diplomas" to them, and then had a reception complete with party favors, cupcakes, and punch. Landon sure is going to miss Bowen Road Day School. They did an excellent job of preparing these babies for kindergarten!

Self portrait :-)

Landon's good buddy Sam. They started BRDS together at 18 months and will be going to Kindergarten together, as well!

This is the Program that was shoved in my purse before I pulled it out to take pics, hence the crumpled up look.

About to head out the door for Camp Thurman!

Landon and Grayson so excited to get this camp thing started! They have been having so much fun so far! They have swam in several different pools on the camp grounds, tried out some zip lines, gone on wagon rides, sprayed a clown with water pistols (clowns creep Landon out, so I'm sure he was quite pleased to spray him with water), participated in archery and bebe guns, climbed an obstacle course net thingy, sang songs, listened to bible stories, learned a bible verse (which they will present to the entire camp on stage this Friday. We are practicing it at home, too), watched and participated in skits, and had picnic lunches with their group. All this, and its only the 2nd day! Can't wait to hear what they do tmrw!

We stopped for some nice cold frozen yogurt after Day 2 of camp. Tmrw is Day 3, and I'm hoping I will receive some pictures from Rooster (his camp counselor) to post on here. Apparently, we are supposed to be getting some on Friday I think.
