Nana's House!

We stayed very busy today! We started the day out at The Little Gym for Landon's weekly class (which he LOVES). After an hour of running, jumping, flipping, hula hoops, balls, bubbles, and bells, we headed to Granbury to visit Nana (my mom). Nana's house is so fun for the little man. There are deer everywhere that Landon loves to watch. She also has a golf cart that he will not stay off of. She lives on several acres, so Landon can run, run, run! Our backyard is full of pool, so her backyard is enormous to him...a place where he can just take off and go with his little energetic self. We ate lunch on the Granbury Square at Babes. YUMMY! Landon loved watching the cute waitresses sing and dance. It was such a nice visit with my mom. Landon was so tired, he passed out on the way home. It's a good thing he got a little power nap cause we ended up meeting Chris at the golf course for 9 holes. Landon ABSOLUTELY LOVES playing golf with Daddy. It might be his most favorite thing ever. All in all, it was a great day! Here are a few pics of the fun...oh yeah...the one where Landon is wearing glasses...I'm sorry, but does he not look exactly like the Jerry Maquire kid???

San Antonio

I'm still sitting here fooling around with this blogger. I need to figure out how to add images, so I thought I'd chat about last weeks trip to San Antonio and try adding some pics, too. We were SUPPOSED to be going down to South Padre, but due to hurricane dolly, we had to stop in San Antonio. Our good friends Carl, Kendra, and baby Kennedy live there, so we just stayed with them. Johnna, Josh, and Ben came, too. We were all pretty bummed about not getting to go to the beach, but we still had fun visiting with each other for a few days. All of the babies were oh so cute :) Take a look (hopefully it will work)....

First post...hope it works!

Okay...so I've been noticing that many people I know are starting these blogs, so I thought it was time for me to begin my own. As I was reading Heather Allen's just now, I thought "How cool that she is recording all of this stuff that she does day to day". It's like an online diary I will always be able to go back and visit. So cool...

Right now, I'm just sitting here trying to figure this whole blog thing out, so this first entry will be pretty boring. I need to figure out all of the in's and out's of this thing before I really get to blogging on a regular basis.

I guess I can go ahead and include a little something about today just to get started. Today was somewhat eventful. I had my first "Back to School" training about our new math textbook adoption...boring. Landon went to Ms. Sue's (his babysitter during the schoolyear). He enjoyed seeing his friends that he has missed all summer. After I picked him up, we went to visit Brooke. She is gonna be having baby Lochlan any day now. Landon was very confused when I told him there was a baby in her tummy. I'm sure he was thiinking, "Ummm, I've seen plenty of babies mommy, and none of them look like that." After being a bit shy, he finally gave the sweet belly a few smooches. We also went to Mardel to buy classroom stuff. I got some pretty cute bulletin board thingys for my room. I can't believe it's already that time again. Only 2 1/2 weeks left of summer vacation!
