My Present

The other day, when Landon and Chris got home from work and preschool, he came running through the door yelling, "Mommy, mommy, I got you a present!" He handed me these two little blue pieces of foamy plastic stuff and said, "Mommy, I got you this present because you are nice to me and I love you. Do you like them?" It was soooo sweet I could have cried! I have absolutely no idea what they are, but I love them and will be keeping them forever! I love my little man so much!!

Lately

We've been enjoying our summer...here are a few pics. I've got to get better at snapping pics though. I have none of Father's Day, none of several kid's parties we've been too, and very few of the girls! I just need to hire a photographer to follow me around b/c I'm getting worse and worse about breaking out the camera!

We've been doing a lot of finger painting lately...it's messy, but Landon loves it. Sorry about the darkness...

Okay...so I'm going to make a serious effort to take more pictures...especially of the girls! I seriously barely have any! I have like a million of Landon as a baby...I guess that's the difference between the first-born and the second-born :)

Jumping!!!!

Last Thursday, we met my friend Cara and her daughter, Hayden at Pump it Up. Kids ages 2-12 can jump from 3-5 every Tuesday and Thursday for only 6 bucks! It's a great deal and it gives mommy a chance to let the wild child run free! They had a blast jumping, sliding, and climbing! The girls enjoyed a nice afternoon nap in their stroller while Landon got all of his energy out. And I had a great time visiting with Cara and snapping pictures of the future couple :)

8 weeks!

The girls are 8 weeks today!! They are really starting to grow now. They are still itty bitty for their age...I always have to remind myself that they were a month early, so they are only supposed to be 4 weeks old today. Anyhow...they are starting to look like cute babies, rather than alien newborns :) We go for their 2-month well check next week, so I'll post how that goes. Here are a few pics of Allie and Emily at 8 weeks old!

Landon is in full-on summer mode! He ALWAYS wants to swim. Just about every morning, he will go straight to his drawers, grab his swimsuit, and put it on. He's ready to swim the minute he wakes up! This week and next week, he is taking swimming lessons with my mom out in Granbury at the country club where she lives. He is taking a 2 week vacation from preschool. I really wish I could do swim lessons with him, but not with infant twins. Oh well...I will work on his new skills in our own pool with him. I'm about to start planning his birthday party. I CAN NOT BELIEVE the child is about to be 3!! He's such a big boy. I still have a few months before his b-day, so I have lots of time to plan it. We're gonna have it at Pump it Up, a big warehouse type place full of bounce houses. Landon loves to jump, so this will be perfect, not to mention easy. I'm all about easy now that I have twin babies on my hands. All I have to do is get a cake and send out invites. That's what I'm talking about! For some reason, Landon thought this was absolutely hilarious :)
